Further afield, you will find Rhosneigr, home to the excellent Anglesey Golf Club, gorgeous beaches, and the popular Oyster Catcher. Begin your adventure to Anglesey with a stay at 22 Bryn Gwyn Road.

Holyhead, the biggest town on Anglesey and arguably best known for being the primary ferry port to Ireland, is located on the island's northwestern shore. The town is replete with historical artefacts, including mediaeval burial chambers, stone village foundations, and sections of Roman town walls and forts. The former quarry that is now Breakwater Country Park can be explored via one of the many trails. The park is home to a variety of interesting animals, most notably the seals that frequent the Holyhead shore, and details the incredible building of the world's longest breakwater, at around 1.8 miles, which now protects the harbour. Check out the town's colourful marina full of yachts and tall ships, or learn about the 100 local shipwrecks at the maritime museum. The capital of Dublin is only 90 minutes distant via swift boat, making day visits to Ireland a breeze. You can take breathtaking hikes along the cliffs of Holyhead Mountain, relax on the award-winning sands of Trearddur Bay, and visit Snowdonia National Park in about an hour and a half.

There has been a lot of thought put into the home and all credit to the hostess. We missed the opportunity to view the wildlife digging up the lawn though! A visitors book seems like a good idea for future visitors to view. A list of recommended eating places wouldn’t go amiss. Maybe we’ll see you again, I hope so.

The furnishings were of a very high quality and the kitchen well equipped with more than sufficent pots, pans and kitchen utensils. The bathroom and walk-in shower was of a high standard and the bedroom had lots of wardrobe and drawer space. We were well pleased and would happily return to this cottage.

It's on the edge of town so in only 1 minute one can reach (on foot) a quiet, narrow lane which leads to a lovely little cove. The accommodation is well equipped and has a spacious modern kitchen. The electric heaters warm up very quickly and are efficient so we never needed to use the electric fire in the lounge. The WiFi worked well and the smart TV offered plenty of choice. The nearest bus stop (near the station) is only 7 minutes away and the station, shopping area and Lidl only 10 minutes. We had an excellent lunch with great service at the Harbourfront Bistro. The weather wasn't great but we managed some good walks without getting soaked. "Cedars" is a good base for visiting the local area and we were very happy there for a week.
