Please note: There is an unfenced lake 300 yards away.. Once inside Branwen youâre greeted by a very spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining room, fully equipped with everything youâll need for a comfortable stay. The outside area overlooks the fields where you may spot the resident goat. Thereâs a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, which can also be made into a super king on request. The shower room has a modern walk-in shower.
Alaw Estuary is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set on the ownerâs farmland, a truly breathtaking setting affording wonderful walking, birdwatching and fishing. There are many special beaches within easy reach, youâll be spoilt for choice of which ones to explore. This special island has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and youâll be spoilt for choice along the way regarding which famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife.
You are just a short drive away from some of the islandâs famous sites, such as South Stack Lighthouse. You can take a boat trip at certain times of the year to visit Puffin Island! The Rib Ride boats also run from various locations across the island for most of the year and offer a fascinating insight into the history and the local wildlife. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy in this diverse region no matter your interests.

We had a fabulous stay at Branwen, 2 adults 2 kids + Frenchie. Great location for exploring Anglesey. Secure garden area for our dog and easy, accessible walks from the cottage. The cottage is clean, modern and kitted out with everything you need. Highly recommend.
