10 Cleifiog Fawr is a fantastic barn conversion resting in the lively village of Valley on the Isle of Anglesey, boasting bright and airy bedrooms and an open-plan living space sure to be the social hub throughout your stay. With easy access to nearby amenities and the beautiful Trearddur Bay Beach this property is ideal for a family getaway at any time of year. Arriving at the property, off-road parking greets you, inviting you to leave your car and become acquainted with your home away from home. The designated chef will be pleased to discover a fully integrated kitchen fit with an electric oven and hob and a handy dishwasher to make cleaning up that bit easier. From here, dine as a family at the stylish dining table while you discuss your plans for the next day's adventures. When it is time to relax, light the woodburning stove, cosy up on the sofa and settle in to watch TV for the evening. As the evening draws to a close, head off to the bedrooms to rest your head; three of the four bedrooms offer en-suite shower rooms, ideal for freshening up ahead of your day. The ground floor hosts a king-size and an en-suite, providing sleeping quarters for any age or ability. Climbing the left-hand staircase you will find a king-size with an en-suite and a twin, while the right-hand staircase leads to a final king with an en-suite, accessed via an overhanging balcony. The popular village of Valley rests on the picturesque north west coast of Anglesey. The Anglesey Coastal Path rests nearby with a good variety of shops and restaurants resting within the village. Just four miles from Valley is the fantastic resort, Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn where you will find a stretch of golden sandy beaches, rocky coves and sweeping grassy coastlines. Other attractions in the area include South Stack Lighthouse with its rspb Reserve, and the port of Holyhead, with its regular ferry links with Dublin.

    When I checked there was water coming through a light fitting which my other daughter had noticed was not working. Reported fault to the owner, she said she has had a person out the week before, because it had done the same to previous occupations. Not very reliable

    There is a good sized rear garden with views across the surrounding countryside. Our 2 year old loved singing ‘Old MacDonald’ to the cows as they wandered past in the rear field! The location is ideal with shops and amenities a 5 minute drive away. It’s also a great base from which to get out and about as you’re not too far from anywhere on the Island and there’s plenty of great beaches within 20 minutes’ drive. The property is very well appointed and suited our needs very well. The ground floor bedroom was ideal for my elderly father and upstairs provided plenty of room for the rest of the family. There was an issue whilst we were there but on contacting the owner it was rectified with little bother which was reassuring. Overall, a really nice property in a great location and we’ll likely stay here again.
