Guests say

Pant y Crintach is a charming cottage in Anglesey, appreciated for its peaceful and remote location, cosy ambience, and beautiful garden. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful welcome hampers, though some noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance. The property offers a tranquil retreat with stunning views and is particularly favoured by dog owners.

Cleanliness has been a point of contention among guests. While some found the cottage to be clean and welcoming, others reported the need to clean upon arrival and mentioned issues such as dust and dog hair. The variance in experiences suggests room for improvement.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to local beaches and nature. It is described as remote and peaceful, ideal for guests seeking a quiet getaway.

Comfort levels are generally high, with the cottage described as cosy and homely. However, some guests found the bedroom small and the furniture, including sofas and dining chairs, not entirely comfortable. The overall experience remains positive, with suggestions for minor enhancements.

Facilities are well-received, with mentions of good Wi-Fi and a nice shower. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as a broken wood burner, dripping taps, and outdated kitchen and bathroom areas. These issues indicate a need for updates and repairs.

The welcome hampers and provisions for dogs are frequently mentioned and appreciated, reflecting a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The location is ideal and garden fabulous for our dog. The bathroom is becoming a little tired but clean and functional. We were sad to hear it has been sold. We hope the new owners are still share this little gem.

A well equipped cottage with views over the landscape, a wrap around garden was great for our dog's. Small dog's could escape under the gate on to the road but this was not a problem to us. We had mixed weather and took advantage of lighting the log burner, very cosy, never expected to do that in July, but we made the absolute most of our time in Anglesey and pant y crintach. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again but it looks like it's not going to be listed after the early Autumn. Which is a great shame. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Annie, Tom and pooches
