About this property

A delightful detached bungalow in an enviable headland location with views over the Irish Sea, just a short walk from the centre of Amlwch town and the Anglesey Coastal Path, one mile from Amlwch harbour on the north coast of Anglesey. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on a small residential estate, yet close to the centre of the popular resort of Amlwch, you will find this welcoming bungalow. Decorated to a good standard, this modern coastal cottage has everything needed for a memorable family holiday. A path leads from private parking in front of the cottage, past the side lawn to the front door, and opens into a hallway leading to the main sitting room with a comfy corner sofa, and enjoys sea views over gorseland. French doors lead into a bright and airy conservatory also enjoying undisturbed distant coastal views. The kitchen is well-equipped and incorporates a dining table to create a social area to sit and relax with family and friends over a good meal and glass of wine. Three pleasant bedrooms lead off the landing to include a children’s bunk room, a double bedroom, and a master bedroom with king-size bed plus en-suite shower facilities to support the stylish family bathroom. Outside, the lawn wraps around three sides of the cottage, offering a sunny area whatever time of the day, whilst a patio outside the kitchen door makes an ideal entertaining area for barbecues and alfresco dining. A garage provides safe storage for jet skis, kayaks or bikes and you will find deckchairs stored here if you want to use them for relaxing on the beach. Local shops and pubs are just a few minutes’ walk away and the harbour pubs and the Copper Kingdom Centre can be discovered along the Coastal Path in one direction, and the tiny secluded beach of Traeth Dynion in the other. This is a wonderful cottage offering a lovely coastal getaway for families or friends all year long.

Nestling on the north-east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, Amlwch, a small seaside town, has a shop and a pub, as well as being part of the Heritage Cooper Trail, part of Anglesey's coastal path, where you can uncover the past as you delve into the history of the village and its copper mining traditions. There is golf in the area, and also fishing, plus numerous sandy beaches dotted around the coast of the island. You may even fancy hopping on a ferry to take a day trip over to the vibrant Irish city of Dublin.

Lovely sea view over the fields and only a short drive into the town. The town is a bit run down in places but the property is very conveniently located for access to the whole island. The comments in the visitors book were almost all very positive and accurately reflect this bungalow. We enjoyed the break away. Excellent.

The bungalow is comfortable, well equipped and cosy. It is also ideally placed for walking the Coastal Path which we did on three separate days using local buses to get to our start points and finishing less than five minutes away. The views of the sea from the bungalow are special too.
