Start your holiday by exploring Amlwch, a small harbour town with plenty of dining options including Adelphi Vaults, Y llofft Amlwch, and Finney’s Port Chippy for takeaway fish and chips. Play a game or two at Bull Bay Golf Club, or perhaps you'd prefer discovering the area's mining history at the Copper Kingdom Centre? Walkers and cyclists will be in awe of this location with the 125-mile coastal path, winding its way along the coast of Anglesey, and revealing miles of cliff-top walks and secret coves and beaches, such as Traeth Lligwy and Traeth Bychan! If you're bringing your fishing gear, be sure to visit Cemaes Bay with a picturesque harbour, plenty of rock pools to explore along the beach, and Cemaes Heritage Centre. Elsewhere on the island, you'll find plenty of nature reserves to explore including Cemlyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Reserve, Nant-y-Pandy at Llangefni, and Breakwater Country Park (Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi) near Holyhead, another wonderful spot for fishing, walking, and birdwatching. Stop off in Holyhead for Holyhead Maritime Museum, Holyhead Golf Club, and even day trips to Dublin! Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Nature World, and the National Trust's Plas Newydd House and Gardens are all well-worth a visit on your Anglesey adventure. Known as the most northerly town in Wales, Amlwch rests on the north east coast of Anglesey, and is a major draw for those interested in industrial heritage. A small town with a long history of working conditions, it offers visitors a good range of activities. Amlwch has a range of local bars, shops and hosts a local market every Friday. There are also golfing opportunities at the Bull Bay golf club, which is considered one of the toughest courses in Wales.
