In the evening, step outside to raise a toast to your getaway and reminisce on the cherished memories you have created while the rural island provides a magical backdrop; alternatively snuggle up on the plush sofa with your loved ones and flick on the Smart TV while your feet warm by the woodburning stove, there’s no better way to spend an evening after a day full of exploration! When the sky darkens, head to the first floor to wash off the day’s adventures in the sleek bathroom before choosing between the king-size and twin bedroom, there is also a ground-floor king-size boasting its own en-suite wet room for convenience. During the day explore all the Island has to offer by venturing to Baleshare Beach where you and your canine companion can stroll the white sand while admiring truly breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Traveling south from Lochmaddy, you'll reach the small town of Carinish after about 10 miles; from there, you may reach the causeway that will take you to Benbecula. The airport at Balivanich, Benbecula, also serves as a car rental hub, post office, bank, restaurant, and gas station. From Benbecula, you can reach South Uist through a bridge.
