The house was comfy and well equipped with everything we needed. It overlooks the machair and it’s a short walk to the beach. Plenty of birdlife. Handy for visiting places on North Uist. Overall we had an enjoyable week.

A well equipped cottage with just about everything for a comfortable stay.Access to the cottage is via short track which some low slung vehicles may struggle with.Lots of wildlife in the vicinity, with a nature reserve just down the road.Angus, your host, is very pleasant and willing to share his local knowledge so you get the most out of your stay.

First visit to Uist.. The cottage is homeley, cosy and warm. Has a washer, drier and dishwasher which is a bonus. Could sit and watch the rabbits all day long. Shop at end of road is well stocked and you can fill up with fuel there. Only thing I could fault was the weather. 😃 Thats to be expected.. its Scotland.. As long as you bring a good coat and walking boots, you will have a lovely holiday.
