Guests say

Taigh Na Beadan is praised for its stunning location with wonderful views, offering peace and tranquillity. Guests appreciate the comfortable bedrooms and the warmth of the cottage, particularly enjoying the sun room. The local beaches and walks are highlights, and the community shop is well-regarded. Some guests mention the need for maintenance and additional facilities, but the overall experience is one of a welcoming and serene getaway.

The cottage receives mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests have not raised concerns, others mention stained carpets and a damp smell in the kitchen. The effort to clean stains is acknowledged, but the presence of marks suggests room for improvement.

The location is consistently lauded for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to beaches and nature. The views from the property are a standout feature, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Guests find the bedrooms comfortable and the living spaces warm and inviting. However, some mention a lack of curtains in one bedroom and issues with a toilet seat, indicating that while the comfort level is generally high, there are areas that could be enhanced.

The facilities are adequate, with a well-stocked community shop nearby. However, guests have reported several maintenance issues, such as a broken toilet seat, a washer/drier not functioning properly, and a lack of kitchen equipment. These concerns suggest that the facilities could benefit from attention and upgrades.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the reviews provided.

Cosy cottage, great view, a little remote but on a superb circular walk. Local beaches are outstanding. The owner David Macleod and manager Sharon responded quickly to our queries. We were ‘off-season’ so could not experience local restaurants, the local shop is well stocked.

Peaceful and beautiful. House was lovely and warm. The only downfall was there was a damp smell in the kitchen and on a couple of occasions water came through from the kitchen floor.
