Very lovely cottage but would say it is not suitable for disabled my main concern about this are the beds are too low and there is 2 steps into cottage no ramp also down stairs has no handles suitable for a disabled person could use for on and of toilet no rails or a seat in the shower for a disabled person’s use also shower could do with shelve or hanging tray to hold your showering items on. The views from house are stunning great big house great for 2 families to share a holiday lots of room could do with a TV in kitchen lounge for anyone who doesn’t want to climb the stairs to watch Tv .

Our first visit to Barra, beautiful island stunning beaches very friendly people, as at the end of September places were starting to close down but the house was a lovely place to stay in with good views.

We had a wonderful time on Barra. The island didn’t disappoint, its beautiful. Grianan is very well equipped, spacious and modern with great views. The big picture windows upstairs and down showed off the glorious surroundings, especially when the weather was a bit dramatic! Chris’s early and comprehensive communication was much appreciated. Thanks for a memorable adventure!
