Very stylish open modern and well equipped cottage with views to the sea. The additional upstairs lounge with its big viewing window was a surprise luxury. Fresh fish from the local shop and fresh veg from local community garden with a supermarket not far an away makes it easy to stock up. Not far from Barra’s stunning beaches

Gorgeous house with a spectacular view. Despite forecast not being great we had a week of good weather. We played golf which was interesting, not your usual golf course but fun. Booked the sauna at Vatersay which was brilliant, highly recommend it with a wild swim. Lots of beach walks, white sand and turquoise water, stunning. Also visited Kismul castle, very interesting, you have to book it though, and the Indian restaurant in Castlebay is fab. We also booked the Heathbank Hotel for a Sunday roast dinner, excellent. Joan’s pizza in Borve also great. I Would definitely recommend. We were 8 adults and there was plenty room for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Grianan. The house was beautifully stocked and had everything we wanted. It has been wonderfully modernised and has a lovely stylish and modern feel. The view from the main windows is stunning and we especially appreciated the upstairs sitting room.Communications with the house owner, caretaker and cleaner were excellent too. We found everyone to be incredibly helpful which we really appreciated. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
