Booked this Wheelhouse as it was different from the standard places we stay at. Lovely place that is right on the bank of the river Avon. Very peaceful and relaxing, the children especially liked the hot tub. We found it a bit expensive, but this was probably due to it being in the school holidays. Edinburgh and Stirling were only about 30mins drive away and the local big stores were about 10mins.The owners were friendly and helpful. Overall we all throughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it if you want to get away from the usual holiday parks and such.

Me and my wife stayed recently. We enjoyed our stay. Owners were super friendly and helpful, accommodation was clean and tidy, amazing location. Ideally placed close enough to towns and attractions but peaceful and off beaten track. Highly recommend. We would gladly stay there again.

We had an amazing time, the house was home from home. Everything there you needed. We court the train into Edinburgh and also Glasgow. There is the kelpies near by and The wheel, so plenty to do. The hot tube was amazing on an evening to relax. The best thing for me was the river that runs by the house at the back, the sound was So relaxing. William seemed really nice that showed us around. All in all the best place I have stayed, so relaxing, what an amazing place to spend a holiday
