This attractive town cottage has been converted from a former stable and has its own south-facing terrace and walled garden – within walking distance of all the amenities of historic Linlithgow, with fine views over the Royal Palace, its parkland and loch. Delightfully set in the grounds of the owner’s home, it is furnished with antique pine and has great charm and character. Traditional high street shops, restaurants, bars and food takeaways within walking distance. Leisure centre, canal and a railway station with regular 20-minute links to Edinburgh can all be found within a few hundred yards. Many places of interest in the Forth area, including famous golf courses, outlet shopping, Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies, country parks, Blackness and Stirling Castles (20 minutes by car). An absolutely fabulous cottage, tucked in the corner on it's little hill, with beautiful views over the garden and out to the Palace. Just a short walk to the train station and a supermarket, several pubs and bars, delicious bakeries, and takeaways, all on the doorstep, and the Palace is well worth a visit too, or even walk around the loch.The cottage is incredibly well presented, clean and tidy, and everything you need all available, anything else required the owners are at the end of the phone, and they're super friendly and welcoming. They send a full welcome email with all the information you need for your stay, and there are a couple of folders with information about the cottage and the local area.The cottage is cosy, the garden is beautiful, the views are stunning, and we had a thoroughly relaxing holiday, highly recommend staying here.It was a pleasure meeting you both, thank you for such a wonderful stay, and we'll see you again soon!

Beautiful cottage and garden right in the centre of Linlithgow with friendly and helpful owners who provide everything you could need for a wonderful stay (although I might suggest adding a list of recommended restaurants). Convenient for going to Edinburgh and especially the Royal Highland Centre/park and ride. Try Nero's Pizzeria and Brunch and Tapas in Linlithgow, they are both excellent. The Four Marys is a very nice historic pub.
