Crossburn Hideaway is a well-received cottage in Alexandria, praised for its cleanliness, cosy comfort, and idyllic setting. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the hosts and the property's proximity to Loch Lomond. While there is a mention of minor issues with facilities, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviewers consistently mention that the cottage is extremely clean, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The property is appreciated for its privacy and proximity to Loch Lomond, offering a great location for a getaway.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed, although one review mentioned dissatisfaction with lighting and heating.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, there were issues with the bathroom towel rail not working, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

Guests noted the hosts' thoughtfulness, such as leaving candles during a power cut and a welcome with cheese, biscuits, and wine. While these gestures are highly appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
