Very comfortable and well appointed. Few very important issues though. No instructions on how to use , where to put the rubbish or find things, no guide to aid the people staying there. Top bedrooms cold, no way to heat them at all. Kitchen had the basics but misses enough bowls etc. one of the toilets flushes itself constantly throughout the night. All showers are not warm, just about manageable but all on the cold side. No WiFi throughout the stay although we were given assurances that it would work. Had to really on mobile data to do work so no idea what costs I incurred there. Heating ran out of gas on our last night. Had to sit in one room that was very cold. Parking is a bit of a mystery, seems you just dump your car at the door and hope it’s ok. As I say lovely place but too many little issues that cause the stay to be difficult

We had no heating on arrival but we managed to get this sorted on our third day. There was no wifi for the length of our stay; when we logged onto the router the webpage informed us that the line from the exchange to the property had been disconnected because the bill had not been paid. On our final day, we woke up to no heating. The property relies on a top-up pay meter. Gas is also required for the cooking hob. I was not going to spend our last day getting a gas payment card topped up! This is a lovely property that needs a lot of TLC. For example, the downpipes from the bathrooms need to be repaired. It is not a pleasant sight seeing toilet paper and tampons outside the kitchen back door. I can not recommend this property.

The hall appears to be up for sale and this may contribute to the lack of investment in keeping it up to standard. Some of the paintwork was flaking away in some of the rooms. Some light fittings with no bulbs or bulbs that didn't work. The jets in the jacuzzi bath in the main bedroom weren't working and that was one of the reasons I chose the hall. A leak in the skylight in the upstairs bedrooms bathroom that caused water to drip into the bath and 2 of our party awake one night as it was raining. Broken toilet seat in one of the other bedrooms. The wifi was nearly none existent as soon as you left the ground floor despite there being a booster in the main bedroom. However the kitchen was lovely and well set out but there were a few utensils missing that we had to go and purchase to enable us to cook and the only other thing that was slightly vexing was when we tried to cook breakfast in the morning we discovered there was no gas and after contacting the owner I had to drive a couple of miles with the gas card to put money on which the owner reimbursed me for. For the money spend for a week I was a little disappointed in the accommodation and I doubt I would book there again
