Clean, comfortable, very well equipped and with plenty of local information. We would stay again.

This bungalow looks better from the inside. It was nice and comfortable and clean and close to St Cuthbert's Way which you can pick up from the door. I do think it needs a little bit of TLC, particularly in the bathroom which was quite dingy. There were a couple of known issues which should maybe have been dealt with (front door difficult to use, no heating in bedroom). As we had to use the back door, I think the garden gate and overgrown bushes could have been attended to, just to make the gate easier to use. It would have nice if one of the hall cupboards was cleared out so we had somewhere to put our bags, coats etc

Beautifully appointed little cottage that was ideally suited to myself and my border collie. Secure garden and dog walks immediately opposite. I loved the pictures of local scenes. I was a little cold but not enough to fiddle with the stove! I just missed a clock somewhere but perhaps this is a deliberate ploy. What a pity the village does not have a shop/pub but it really did not matter for a 3 day stay. Ideal for any dog event at the Border Union showground in Kelso (10 minutes).
