The open-plan layout welcomes you on arrival, boasting a warm red interior, which flows from the kitchen area through to the lounge. The under floor heating was brilliant. It was a great base for the places we wanted to visit. The only downside for us, and not anything to do with the property, we like to have the bedroom window open at night, but we had to keep closing it because one of the nearby houses kept letting there noisy dog out in the middle of the night

Spotlessly clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfect enclosed garden for the dogs, not even our Lhasa Apso escape artist could find a way out!! Nice sized TV with plenty of channels, perfect for snuggling down with on the rainy days. Cosy with the underfloor heating. Excellent hosts, with an extensive welcome pack on arrival, Thank you. A few minutes walk takes you into the village of Thornhill. Everything you need there...local butcher ( nice pies )..Co- Op, Spar, book shop, Post office etc. I fully recommend this property, with nice area for exploring.

Great hosts!! Slight challenge getting into bed as very little room either side of bed, but worth it when you make it as bed very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable seating! Very secure garden so our escape artist westie Angus had a great time and we could relax and let him roam. Can thoroughly recommend this property and the surrounding area.
