About this property

This lovely, semi-detached stone cottage is situated in the village of Chirnside near Duns and Berwick-upon-Tweed in the Scottish Borders. This charming cottage is ideal for a couple or small family with a pub just down the road and many places to visit nearby. Once inside you will find a charming sitting room with an open fire, where cosy nights in can be enjoyed after a day out and about exploring the area. Very clean and fresh. Lots of extras ie salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee and many more. Lovely coal fire with coal and kindling. Lovely when it's cold outside. Nice bedroom and such a comfy bed. Great bath towels! Good size. A lovely welcome tray was a great touch. Would definitely reccomend a stay here.

From the moment you enter you have an amazing comfortable and cozy abode. There are many thoughtful extras that have been provided for guests and a bounty of information about the surrounding area. The open fire was a welcome bonus. The enclosed garden was idyllic and safe and secure for our dog. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in and would highly recommend it to others.
