We equipped cottage and I would recommend to friends. Parts of the cottage are looking a bit dated like the shower cubicles but having said that they don't half kick out some force of water. Need to mention how easy this place is to get too and is perfect for Edinburgh via the train from Dunbar.

This is not just a holiday property, it feels home from home. Extremely well equipped with quality furnishings, the two large sofas are great for relaxing on. Comfy beds and several options on dining tables in the property. My wife found numerous running routes from the property so if you enjoy a daily run or walk this may suit you. Just beware some muddy paths. In the interests of honesty and transparency the only things I'd suggest considering for improvements are: A clothes airer would have been useful. We personally love crisp white bedding which gives a quality feel. Patten bedding feels old fashion and makes it feels as if your staying at Grans. Upgrading the open fire for a log burner. 85% of heat from an open fire goes up the chimney. Where as a modern log burner, you get 80% of the heat into the room. Which would make that living room really cosy on a winter's evening. Overall we had a truly fantastic week and really wasn't ready to leave. Thank you for our stay.

what a lovely house in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean ,fantastic views overlooking the sea.The owners have thought of everything the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and more!! Beds were comfy and the added comfort of 4 bathrooms 2 of which are ensuite. Not a criticism but an observation there is different levels downstairs into the rooms... wasnt a problem for us but maybe something to think about if elderly or less mobile ... would recommend to friends and would definitely return nothing negative to say about this property
