The location is celebrated for its beauty and tranquillity, with guests enchanted by the sea views, wildlife, and the peaceful environment.

Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the beds cosy and the cottage warm upon arrival. However, some guests noted the lack of a stand-up shower as a minor inconvenience.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a few guests noting the high standard of fittings. Points were deducted for the lack of information on how to operate the TV and the absence of certain kitchen items.

While guests mentioned a welcome bottle of wine, as gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

The sea is literally feet away, the views are absolutely stunning. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. As has been said before the check in and out times are not very friendly and an extra hour at either end would have been great. A lovely relaxing stay, we would love to return.

Absolutely loved listening to the waves outside. Cottage cosy and very comfy beds. Owner very helpful post and pre stay. Only little negative was couldnt find a hair dryer or any extra black bin liners. Would love to come and stay again some time and would definitely recommend to others.

Super cottage kept immaculately. Amazing for wildlife watching: grey seals, Eider ducks, great northern divers and gannets right outside the front door. Would have appreciated more info about the area, perhaps a visitors book for tips and ideas, and clear markings on the bins as had no idea which was mine because none were marked. I feel the 5pm check in is far far too late - a whole day gone, especially in winter, and would urge the owners to consider bringing this forward.
