Enjoy the ravishing vistas from Queen's View (4 miles), where wife of Robert the Bruce Queen Isabella and Queen Victoria loved to look west across Loch Tummel; on a clear day, you can sometimes see the west coast mountains surrounding Glencoe. There are myriad forest walks around here; just to the west in Allean Forest (4.5 miles), look out for the remains of an 8th century ring fort and a reconstructed 18th century farmhouse. The cottage's interior brilliantly blends elements of Scandinavian, mid century and contemporary design, to create a superb feeling of light, cosiness, sleek lines and colourful, welcoming spaces.
