A very comfortable, well situated cottage. It IS right next to the railway line from Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness. No problem for us as we like trains! We took a trip to Inverness by rail...the station is a minute away.Blair Castle is a short walk away, lovely gardens and views. Its part of the Historic houses chain. The nearby hotel was good as was the mill/bakery. All just a minute away.I would have preferred an upstairs bathroom.... but the lounge area had quality setees and it was so refreshing to have holiday accomodation with a good modern TV that had multiple options and a great picture. We holiday in Scotland a lot. Old Mill cottage and its location was rated as a great stay by the 3 of us. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Old Mill Cottage and we will certainly be back again. A perfect location to explore Perthshire and the Cairngorms. Parking outside the front door and a bus stop and railway station seconds away. A local shop is on the doorstep. The cottage is superbly appointed - everything you could possibly need. Cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
