Boatland Lodge is beautifully situated. Just a hundred metre stroll down the private drive takes you to the river Tay with lovely views in each direction. It is set in the grounds of the main house whose gardens are delightfully laid out. Very friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge. The lodge is clean comfortable and well equipped, with a sunny sitting out area looking over the gardens. For sightseeing, it is a quick drive on to the A9. You can walk to Perth town centre in 115 minutes, passing a local Co-op, and Scone Palace is just up the road. We really enjoyed our stay there.: highly recommended.
