A thoroughly enjoyable holiday in an amazing setting. The lodge has everything you could need by way of facilities a real home from home. Lovely walks in the immediate area, but need transport to get around. The welcome gift of wine, flowers and biscuits was a lovely surprise. Really recommend and have already booked to go again next year

We’ve just got back from a few days away in our Highland hideaway, autumn colour chasing in the stunning area around Kenmore and Aberfeldy. For those that are craft enthusiasts like me, this will be your holiday nirvana as Karelia House Yarn and Fabric warehouse is within steps of the superb Karelia Lodge. It is quite simply the best self catering accommodation that we have ever stayed in. So much so, that this was our third visit to the lodge, with another booked. And we NEVER return to the same holiday even twice !Every single touch, has been meticulously planned and thought out. There’s even a pair of binoculars to spot the mesmerizing displays of wildlife. The lodge is absolutely spotless, bright and modern but extremely homely and comfortable. I’ve been shopping with Karelia house in person, since 2013 and can tell you that it never disappoints. The staff are so warm and welcoming (even when a wheelchair is a proper pain in the proverbial !!) and a font of knowledge, crafting know how and useful tips. The range of yarn, fabric and accessories, will leave you needing more than one basket and a big car boot 😂 But you can also shop online or even have a virtual shopping trip via WhatsApp or messenger which is an extraordinary service that is offered. There is also a cafe onsite, offering delicious breakfast rolls, excellent coffee, homemade soup, light bite lunches and scrumptious home baked sweet treats. My shopping bags are full to bursting, my over worked brain is rested and my hubby has very much enjoyed a well deserved break away from that which is our usual crazy life !!
