Snaptrip says

Blackbrae Cabin is consistently praised for its comfort, peacefulness, and attentive host, Hans. Guests enjoy the secluded setting with beautiful views, finding it a great base for exploring nearby attractions. The cabin is well-equipped, offering a cosy retreat with a log burner and modern amenities. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cabin is frequently described as neat and tidy, with guests appreciating the well-maintained condition. There is a single mention of the path needing a clean, but this does not detract significantly from the overall high standards of cleanliness.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and proximity to attractions, with easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh. The views are often highlighted as a standout feature. However, there is a mention of parking being tricky, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests consistently note the comfort of the cabin, particularly the bed and the cosy atmosphere provided by the log burner. The peaceful environment contributes to the overall comfort level, making it a relaxing retreat.

The cabin is equipped with necessary facilities, and guests are generally satisfied. However, there are comments about the shower being hit or miss and the WiFi needing improvement, indicating room for enhancement in these areas.

Hans is commended for his hospitality and thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack and complimentary toiletries. While these gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such extras, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.
