Compared to many cottages we've stayed at, rather disappointed overall. The garden and exterior needed a lot of care put into them. Weeds everywhere, some wobbly steps - general tiredness. A really good garden pruning would open up some beautiful views. Such a pity.Hot water tap not working upstairs. Heating system rather complicated to deal with as well as hot water not available at times if immerser had not been used and lighting not straightforward either. Impossible to sit up in bed to read as sloping ceiling was too severe.Too many stickers saying to do this or not use this switch etc etcCame away feeling rather disappointed, which we haven't experienced before.Very steep walk up to cottage not suitable for older or frailer people, as well as the very steep, narrow treads on the stairs.Would reserve recommendations.

The gardens, kitchen, bedrooms, conservatory, solar powered lighting on the balcony were all fantastic. The only negative was the lack of a working source of entertainment.
