Sorry but the cottage needed upgrading for comfort. Beds were to small for two people and no WiFi as this is needed for general information. Cleaning was adequate but we had to buy a clean tea towel as the one left was discusstin. People should be warned about the step staircase.

Lovely location overlooking holy island and safe area for children playing outside. Cottage furniture bit tired looking but still useable. Would recommend bringing own plastic cups/bowls if with young children as only small plastic plates available and we were on tender hooks after grandaughter broke a bowl. Overall great place to stay though as we are now in our 70s stairs could be a problem. Would recommend the cottage for families and younger people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had good weather into the bargain, thank you

Lack of WiFi is an issue as there is limited phone signal in Lamlash. Furniture is functional but old and uncomfortable.
