Front lawned garden. Rear patio with sitting-out area, BBQ, garden furniture, firepit and summer house with fire pit. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Fully renovated in 2021, and furnished to a very high standard throughout, Seagrass offers a bright, light modern space, transporting you instantly to ‘island time’. The attention to detail is second to none, a real home from home. Switch off from life in the fast lane as soon as you arrive through the door with a relaxed, holiday vibe – it must be seen to be believed!
There are two beautiful double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, a triple bunk room perfect for kids of all ages, and a luxurious four-piece bathroom for washing away sandy toes and salty kisses. A modern open plan kitchen/dining room has all you need to cook up a storm and relax with friends and family, and a bright and spacious living room with Smart TV and wood burner for cosy nights in by the fire. Heat and electricity are provided by an air source heat pump which generates lots of lovely hot water and warmth throughout the winter months. In the summer months the house offers a cool escape from the warm sun.
Outdoors, there is an enclosed lawn to the front, and a patio area with furniture to the rear. A highlight for guests will be the brand-new summer house for winter 2023 with an internal fire-pit to warm up after a day at the beach and tell stories around the fire in the evenings - just fabulous in any season! The property is well-equipped for children, with cot, highchair, baby bath seat, multi-sports kids table, and a baby bouncy chair. There are also lots of toys, books, and games to keep little ones (and big ones!) entertained, as well as buckets and spades and deck chairs in the garage.
The views from the beer garden at the local pub are unrivalled, a perfect spot for some delicious fresh seafood in the Scottish sun! A short drive away is wonderful Whiting Bay, and Kildonan beach, which is widely regarded as the best on the island. Local wildlife includes seals, often seen basking on rocks just offshore, otters, porpoises, and a variety of sea birds. Arran is a haven for wildlife and outdoor enthusiasts, and perfect location for a relaxed, or adventure packed family holiday. Beach ¼ mile.
