FANTASTIC LOCATION WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS ACROSS TO KINTYRE. 2ND TIME AT THIS COTTAGE, SPACIOUS AND VERY WELL EQUIPPED, IT IS A PERFECT BASE TO EXPLORE ARRAN (AND BEYOND USING THE FERRY FROM LOCHRANZA)FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE OWNERS .WILL DEFINITELY RETURN AGAIN.

Stylish modern 'cottage', situated in a delightful location with enviable outlook over Kilbrannan Sound. A most relaxing environment and an ideal base for exploring the Island's mountains, which was the main reason for my visit.

We had a lovely holiday on Arran and would highly recommend staying at the Postbox cottage. The location was perfect, we enjoyed staying in the peaceful village of Catacol. We enjoyed the scenic views and even spotted dolphins and a red squirrel from the window. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend coming with all your groceries as there's no local amenities nearby. We had many highlights but we really enjoyed experiencing the Broddick highland games and watching the piping bands. We would recommend taking the short ferry crossing from Lochranza to Clanoig to visit Skipness Castle and Skipness seafood cabin.
