Auldfield is well located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the little village of LhanbrydeFirst impressions, Spotlessly clean well maintained and appointed, this property really does deserve its high rating and awards, Situated on the edge of the village on a quiet residential road it is warm welcoming and comfortable, the view from the large kitchen diner overlooks rolling farmland with a panorama of hills as a backdrop on the horizon,Like we all do on arrival we set about exploring our accommodation we were very pleasantly surprised with its inventory, to be honest if Auldfield hasn’t got it you probably don’t need it,A Well equipped kitchen, a large lounge with plenty of comfortable furniture for relaxing and good reliable WiFi for those pesky kids, 🤪🤪🤪It has a nice garden with table and chairs for dining outside, we were often joined by a little family of Blackbirds who spent their time serenading us,The information pack that was on the worktop in the kitchen was nothing short of brilliant,Many places we have stayed in have the basics in information if anything at all,It’s full of information from what day’s Bin day to helpful contact numbers,Plus a visitors guide and much more, We are regular visitors to the Moray area having family in Elgin but we still found some unknown to us hidden gems to visit in the guide,I can’t stress enough the peace of mind knowing when you’re out and about especially if the weather is proving to be a little bit too Scottishy, heavens forbid 🤣 that you have a warm welcoming comfortable base to retreat to and recharge your batteries this is so reassuring, We shall return,PJ Walton
