Rinnes Cottage in Aberlour receives high praise for its great location and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the proximity to local amenities, and the thoughtful touches from the owner. While one review mentions a mix-up with accommodation and dated facilities in an adjacent property, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Reviews consistently mention that the cottage is clean and well-maintained, with only one report of chipped crockery, which seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for being close to local amenities, scenic walks, and visitor attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring Speyside.
Most guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, though one review cites a less comfortable experience due to a mix-up with another property, which slightly lowers the score.

The owner's thoughtfulness is noted with mentions of fresh milk, shortbread, and helpful advice. While these gestures are appreciated, guests should note that such gifts are kindly provided at the owner's discretion and may not be guaranteed.

Nice little cottage located on Aberlour High Street so close to all amenities & very welcoming host who lives in the house behind. There is parking around the back of the property but didn't need to use as I had no issues parking on the street outside. Plenty of nice walks in the local area plus plenty of other visitor attractions within easy driving distance & there is a local hourly bus service to Elgin and Dufftown.

Lovely wee cottage in excellent location to explore Speyside’s many delights. Received a warm welcome from the owner and everyone we met on our travels was friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic holiday and hope to return to this beautiful part of Scotland in the near future. Great to have walks/cycles practically from the doorstep.
