This excellent-value accommodation is in a charming location that has decent local facilities for such as small place. As a single traveller I had ample space and facilities in the cottage, with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a pleasant lounge area where I was able to do my writing during the rain, then pursue long walks when the sun came out. The host was welcoming and pleasant, gave good local advice, and left me in peace to do my work. I was blesed with a St. Martin's Summer - an unusually warm spell in early November - which meant I got in more steps than word-count, but that was fine as the early sunsets left long evenings to relax. I would happily return, with or without a companion.
