Set in a rural position, elevated, with stunning views over Loch Dunvegan, this croft cottage has been lovingly restored by the current owners who own the adjoining properties. Stag Cottage offers a traditional cottage layout with separate living room with a wood burner and dining room, shower room and a double bedroom. The private driveway leads up to the property where there is ample parking. The owners are happy to offer lessons in traditional spinning and deer watching! The area has an abundance of wild life which wanders within the grounds.
Stag Cottage is ideal for people wanting to experience the rural aspects of Skye. Walkers and cyclists are sure to be thrilled by the beautiful, natural location. Beach 8½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Basic but nice cottage,lovely location,good views from the front.Decent shop not too far away with most groceries you would require.This is an excellent base for exploring the Island.

The cottage disappointed us a bit as it was located at the end of a long driveway that was fenced off from local fields so nowhere to walk without going out in car. The nearby roads were all riddled with deep potholes. The chopping boards in kitchen need replacing as they are no longer hygienic to use. The trap in shower needs a real clean out, we cleaned it after every use otherwise the shower tray flooded. It would have been useful to have instructions for the heating as it was very wet & cold when we were there
