The open-plan layout boasts a plush double bed, awaiting to be snuggled into after a long walk in the Highlands, as well as a compact kitchen, where you can rustle up some tasty snacks, to be enjoyed at the dining table. Completing the interior, is a sleek shower room, containing a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Head outdoors to take a moment to appreciate your beautiful location, by enjoying your morning cup of tea upon the bench seating. The outdoor space also comes with off-road parking and small storage shed, so that you can keep your walking shoes and raincoats. If you can bring yourself to leave this charming oasis, head to the nearby village of Strontian, a tiny inlet in the sea-loch, Loch Sunart, where you will find a selection of shops and pubs, a petrol station, a Post Office and a number of local hotels providing delicious dining menus. From the village, guests can look forward to meandering paths leading up to the open moor and dropping down to the river valley, or explore the ancient woods with giant redwoods and filled with wild flowers and mosses. Alternatively, walk alongside the shores of the loch, where you can easily spot otters and sea eagles, this is truly a wonderful spot to enjoy with your loved one. Fishing is popular within the area, with nearby Glen Hurich you can go fishing on Loch Doilet or the Polloch River where there is salmon and sea trout run the river towards to lake. Explore the Ariundle Oakwood National Nature Reserve or spend some time at the Garbh Eilean Wildlife Hide, or keen walkers will be delighted the mountain peaks of Sgùrr Ghiubhsachain, Sgùrr Dhòmhnuill and Garbh Bheinn. Ardnamurchan Point (Scottish Gaelic: Ard na Murchan, meaning "the hill of the great sea") is an isolated peninsula in Lochaber, just north of Corrachadh Mòr, and is the most westerly point on mainland Great Britain, where the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse is situated - Ardnamurchan Point lies at the western end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula and makes for the perfect day trip from the hut. Further afield, you could enjoy day trips to Fort William, where the highest peak in Britain, Ben Nevis is awaiting to be explored. Strontian is the main village in Sunart in Highland Scotland, just 22 miles away from Glencoe. Within the village you will find good local facilities with shops, pubs, a petrol station, Post Office and local hotels providing an excellent standard of cuisine, offering a great base for touring West Highlands of Scotland. From here, you can explore the mountain road over the shoulder of Ben Resipole and down to Polloch, on the shores of inland Loch Shiel.
