Guests say

Shore View is a well-regarded cottage in Portree, praised for its prime location with stunning views and easy access to local amenities. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the recent updates to the bathroom and living room. The peaceful setting and proximity to the town centre make it an ideal base for exploring Skye. While there was a mention of construction noise and parking issues during one stay, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to the town centre, and beautiful views, making it a perfect spot for exploring Skye.

Reviews highlight the cottage's cosiness and comfort, with a special mention of the new furniture and massive shower, suggesting a very comfortable stay.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the new bathroom. However, one review mentioned a lack of baking trays and issues with builders, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance and facilities.

While guests have previously enjoyed welcome gestures, the absence of flowers or a welcome basket in one instance suggests that such amenities are not consistent. As there is only one mention of this, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness.
