The main living areas are on the first floor, taking full advantage of the seascapes from all windows. The lounge is bright and spacious, with high vaulted ceilings and unusual feature windows that drink in the uninterrupted views across the bay. The kitchen/dining room is superbly equipped, with a central island and fully integrated units. With four large double bedrooms (one en-suite) and two further bathrooms, Shelduck House is ideal for larger families as well as groups looking for a very special holiday house in a wonderful setting.
Located at the far end of the Minginish Peninsula, overlooking the pretty harbour at Portnalong, with the Cuillin mountains clearly visible behind, it is a walkers, climbers and water-sports enthusiasts’ paradise. The Cuillin Mountain range and Macleod’s Tables are both within striking distance of the cottage.

This is a wonderful house, very well designed and equipped in a great location.the big windows meant that one can watch the sea, wildlife and the fishing harbour from every window in every room.We will definitely visit and stay there again.

Fabulous house with amazing views. Furnished to a really high standard throughout with some lovely decorative touches.A little off the beaten track but that only adds to the charm. Great pub about 10 minute drive away in Carbost as well as the Talisker Distillery and 3 chimneys restaurant and the Oyster man is highly recommended . There is a local community shop in Carbost.

We had the most amazing time on the Isle of Skye. Shelduck House is perfect for large families who want to get away from it all without being too far away! There are lovely walks right from the front door or plenty of Fae places to visit across the island. The house itself has everything you could want and more, the bedrooms are spacious and the living spaces are comfy and clean
