It is in an excellent position for Nairn town centre (2 mins walk) and also the beautiful Nairn beach (5 - 10 min walk). The house had everything we needed as two families (7 people). All the facilities were good and clean. Beds comfortable. Showers with good power. Comfortable lounge with views across the river. We didn't have any issue with the parking (or neighbour) even though we had a 9 seater van. We chose to park in the unmarked areas under the trees next to the river rather than directly behind the property (in line with the garage). The location was great for exploring. We went to Loch Ness, Foyers, Fort Augustus, Inverness, Culbin Forest, Chanonry Point, Aviemore, Tomatin Distillery. Unfortunately Cawdor Castle was closed as out of season. In Nairn there's a lovely bookshop and a few independent shops. We had a lovely Chinese, Curry and Fish & Chips! Plus a quick trip to Jackos Bar (a few doors down from the house) and visited the cafe at the harbour too. We were very lucky with the weather as Storm Babet had been active the week before but Nairn lived up to its claim of the warmest and sunniest part of Scotland! The owners turned up as we were leaving and they are a lovely couple - it was a pleasure to bump into them and have a quick chat.

Very clean and modern with everything we needed.

Spotlessly clean with attention to detail. Maybe could do with more detailed instructions of how to work the heating. As mentioned previously in feedback parking appears to be an issue. There is room in the garage for two cars, although cars parked adjacent make it difficult to manoeuvre in and out, and there is also parking space outside. Met the “self appointed parking police”. …. Crazy, wavy haired lady that basically didn’t want cars there at all. Obviously not enough to do with her time than sit and watch who is coming and going and popping notes on windscreens! She didn’t bother me as I took no nonsense from her. We have already booked to go back again. Great location. Central for everywhere. You won’t be disappointed with this wee gem. Can’t wait to get back!
