Glebe Cottage receives high praise for its warm, cosy atmosphere and attentive hosts, Lillian and Barry. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped property and its peaceful, picturesque setting ideal for exploring the Highlands. The presence of chickens and pigs adds charm, and the thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack, enhance the experience.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean', indicating a high standard of hygiene and care.
The location is praised for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the Highlands, though no specific drawbacks are mentioned.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a 'home from home' feel, cosy furnishings, and a warm atmosphere, although one review mentions the kitchen and bathroom being less warm.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. However, some concerns about the effectiveness of the oven, shower power, and toilet accessibility slightly lower the score.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is highlighted through mentions of a welcome pack and attention to detail. While gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed.

Lovely peaceful cottage. Very warm apart from the kitchen and bathroom which were not as warm as the rest of the house. Other comments would be the oven wasn’t very effective. The shower had very little power. The toilet niot accessible due to limited space. The bed was very comfortable the house was very clean and very well equipped which was very much appreciated. Would stay again as a fantastic area. Accessible to the airport.

Wonderful weeks break at Glebe cottage, used to live in the area so visited old haunts in the Inverness and wider area. Cottage was perfect for our needs, rural setting but close enough to local amenities, cosey and fully equipped. Hosts Lilian and Barry provided welcome pack and were attentive to any needs/queries we had. Will be back later in the year.

A lovely week at Glebe cottage which was so warm and cosy. Our hosts, Lillian and Barry, were just so organised and couldn't have been more helpful. The weather was very cold, however, only one afternoon of rain and plenty sunshine.
