Its an amazing cottage in a amazing area. What must be said.... the cottage is very clean. Well done! If i can think of 1 downside it would be the beds... my goodness the matras is old, we both slept terrible. But the rest is excellent. Good decorated. Kitchen is well equipped. No lacking of anything. We would recommend riverfoot to everyone.

Arrived to no working televisions no instructions to be found, unable to get the microwave to go more than a minute and thirty seconds again no instructions, informed by the owner that you can't change the heating which seemed to come on randomly during our stay ,there was none the last night or the following morning of our stay. in the ensuite bathroom the hot tap is dripping constantly there is a drip from under the toilet and there was one bath mat between 2 bathrooms and no storage in the main bathroom. This is not our idea of a holiday cottage stepping through the door it's as though your entering someones home it's too personal and there is just too much stuff, the place is poorly laid out and crying out for a refurb. The location is very good there is plenty of wildlife to watch and it's very quiet.

We have been coming to this area for nearly 20 years, only just found this Cottage, will definitely book again. Very comfortable, well equipped, fantastic view and wildlife. Very highly recommended.
