Moorhen Lodge is a stylish Canadian cabin situated near the Scottish Highlands village of North Kessock. Its tranquil location and cosy interior with its woodburning stove make this lodge perfect for a relaxing break any time of year, ideal lodge for a break with friends and couples. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 939755, together they sleep 8.

North Kessock is an ancient ferry route between Inverness and the Black Isle. This ferry ran, for 700 years, up until 1982, when the Kessock Bridge opened. The village has buildings along the shore of Beauly Firth where a range of wildlife can be seen and heard. In North Kessock, a small marine Wildlife Research Base monitors dolphins and seals through sightings as well as underwater microphones. Pop in and have a listen!

    Good quality furnishings and appliances, very comfortable beds and pillows .The owners Helen and David were very nice and accomodating . Just one suggestion- adding one more armchair in the lounge would seat 4 adults more comfortably. Thank you very much
