For our first time in the Scottish Highlands Stanford House was an ideal base. It allowed us to make day trips to Skye, Thurso and other places and walk into Inverness town centre for shops and restaurants. The house is comfortable and inviting, with the charm of an Edwardian era home sympathetically updated. As the core location of a holiday that covered over 2000 miles in 12 days we made the right choice in booking it.
