For a spot of history, visit the landmark of Balnain House, originally used as a field hospital during the Battle of Culloden in 1746, or venture to the well-known Inverness Castle, overlooking the River Ness, where you can head up to the Castle Viewpoint attraction to experience amazing views of the city. While in the area, be sure to visit the legendary Loch Ness, offering a variety of boat trips, where you can enjoy beautiful scenery whilst trying to spot the iconic Nessie lurking in the water.
