Superior detached bungalow (far left in photograph) one of two very attractive houses, well furnished and equipped and set only 200 yards from the shoreline of Loch Linnhe. Wonderful position overlooking the loch and Glencoe mountains with pleasant walks on the shore or ramble on the adjacent private hillside. Sitting 8 miles south of Fort William, it is an ideal holiday base for touring in all directions. Good eating places within walking distance. Fish, sail or surf (bring own equipment). Large patio doors to appreciate the view. Shop and pub ¼ mile.

Just had a lovely week here. The view is spectacular, so lovely to wake up to.The accommodation was so clean and comfortable. The owner was so helpful and great to chat to. Lovely walks down to the shore with our cocker spaniel with amazing sunsets.We would definitely visit again

A lovely location to stay, and very comfortable, just a few little niggles: there was no DVD recorder even though it was listed on the website. The kitchen bin was minute and the bin liners provided were far too thin to line a bin, they just split straightaway. It was a squash for 4 adults, definitely much better for 2 adults and 2 children. But it did provide an excellent base for exploring the local area.

Great holiday at Duart Cottage. Friendly hosts. Perfect location for exploring the highlands (Glencoe, Fort William, Glenfinnan and more) in the car and by foot. I am already missing the morning dog walks down to the loch edge, was fantastic having that view everyday. Cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay, the only minor thing was that we found the bed a little hard. Wonderful, would definatly book again
