Superb accommodation overlooking the harbour and Moray Firth. Great location to explore the Black Isle and Nigg coastlines and the start of the NC500 route. Accommodation was cleanand warm with all the amenities you require for a comfortable stay. Local fish and Chip shop is brilliant.

The house was comfortable, clean and in a good location, handy for walks along the shore and for the shops and takeaways. The Black Isle is a beautiful area with lots to explore. Unfortunately, we had an isue with the smoke alarm system malfunctioning which meant it was ringing constantly unles we used the override button which gave us 10 minutes respite. This continued for almost 24 hours and was compounded by the fact that there was a power cut due to storm Amy. The owner had asumed wrongly that the alarm would stop when the power went off, so agreed with the electrician that he should delay sorting it until the power came back on. He failed to check with us how things were and to tell us that the electrician wasn't coming so we didn't like to leave the house empty with an alarm ringing but we really needed to go out and find somewhere we could get warmed up. Eventually we were able to dismantle the system ourselves. Though we liked the house, this was a very difficult experience
