Our second time at Ardvar which is a great base for exploring the area. Some lovely shops on the doorstep with an amazing chippy and butchers within sight of the front door. The bakers a little further down the street is also a must visit! Ardvar is clean, warm and comfortable with some nice extras such as boxes of tissues and sachets of hot chocolate. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely, comfortable appartment. Well equiped kitchen, so self catering was easy & a pleasure. Particularily nice crockery, which made eating in just like home. Double bed was comfortable with quality bed linen & we slept well. An unexpected bonus was the outside space for sitting/dining. It was larger than we had expected & a nice area to enjoy a glass in the evening.

A lovely cottage on the main high street in Crail. A short walk to beach and local amenities including a very good restaurant and pub. Bus stop to St Andrews and other sites along coast. Ardvar had everything we needed and more. Definitely would recommend.
