Guests say

Mill Street Cottage is a charming and welcoming holiday rental, praised for its pet-friendly environment and perfect location for beach access and local walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable dining conservatory, and the pleasant back garden. The friendly village atmosphere and proximity to a well-stocked shop and delightful local pub add to the appeal of this cosy retreat.

The cottage is generally described as clean and comfortable. However, one review mentioned the presence of small worms on the conservatory floor, indicating a minor issue that affects the score slightly.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, walks, and local amenities such as a shop and pub. The friendly village setting is also appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring.

Most guests find the cottage comfortable, with a well-suited layout for families and dogs. One review noted the mattress was very firm, which is a matter of personal preference, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area. However, comments about dated furniture, a small TV with issues, and the need for updated outdoor furniture suggest room for improvement.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Great wee cottage for anyone with a dog or two wanting to be near the seaside and explore the area. Friendly locals, handy shop across the road, great dog friendly pub with nice meals and atmosphere less than 5 minutes walk. Good value. Bed mattress very firm for us, but we all have our own preferences. Hope to be back next year.
