Most guests found the lodge to be clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, one review mentioned concerns about cleanliness, including dog hair, bird droppings, and a lack of attention to detail in some areas, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is consistently described as lovely, peaceful, and ideal for stargazing and relaxation. Its proximity to picturesque towns and scenic areas adds to the appeal, although one guest found it a bit too isolated.

Even with the blinds down and cutains drawn in the bedroom it was still very bright at sunrise. As specified its a quiet site which I'd looked for, but found this a bit too isolated. A shop within walking distance would have been nice. All in all it was a comfortable base to visit other places.
