In an idyllic spot on the shore of Luce Bay boasting a private slipway and uninterrupted views across to the Rhinns of Galloway.

Access to private slipway for boats, on request. Guests who plan to bring a boat or kayaks and use the private slipway, should contact the owners at the time of booking. Private parking for 2 cars. Fisherman’s Cottage in Stairhaven is charming with every comfort provided to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday. When the cottage was first built around 1850 it was one of the first dwellings in Stairhaven and there are only a handful of houses even today.

We had a fantastic stay at Fisherman's Cottage. The location is incredible - right on the beach. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean on arrival, it was very well equipped, and a really lovely and comfortable place to stay. Trisha and Greg were very welcoming on arrival, and had thoughtfully left a welcome basket which even included a few things for our son. Honestly - not a single thing to fault - one of the best cottages we've ever stayed in. Hopefully we'll be back!
