Fabulous cottage within a stroll of Wigtown centre. Wigtown is small, but very welcoming and hospitable. Lovely community pub at The Plough, and friendly locals and staff at the Galloway. Not much choice for evening meals, but we did visit in October. However, local CoOp and supermarkets at Newton Stewart. Rendezvous Café had lovely food for during the day. Amenities, decor and comfort at the cottage were excellent. Outside seating for the summer and very cosy inside for our stay. Highly recommend. The local community were also second to none in making us feel welcome.

Lovely well equipped cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area. Loved rummaging in the local bookshops and our pints and meals in the Wigtown Ploughman, would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
