The property sits along the outskirts of Creetown, home to two fascinating museums: the Creetown Heritage Museum and the Gem Rock Museum. The bustling town of Newton Stewart is to the north (6.5 miles), with a variety of places to eat and drink, alongside a cinema and swimming pool. Newton Stewart is also known as the gateway to the magnificent Galloway Forest Park, covering 300 square miles and offering a wealth of outdoor pursuits and chances to spot deer, red squirrels and red kites. Other local attractions include the Glenquicken Stone Circle, Cardoness Castle and the Cairn Holy Chambered Cairn all within 11 miles.
