This beautiful cottage is set amongst landscaped gardens in a pretty Scottish harbour town making it ideal for couples or small families.. Situated in mature landscaped gardens, this beautiful, detached cottage, adjacent to the owners’ home, is just a short walk into the pretty harbour town of Kirkcudbright. Locally known as the artists town, Kirkcudbright offers many festivals throughout the year, including Scottish nights, classic car rallies, historic walks, a medieval fayre, a jazz festival and a spectacular Tattoo, as well as a good selection of pubs and restaurants. With a large variety of outdoor pursuits on offer, including fishing, horse riding in the Galloway Forest Park, cycling, golf and watersports, there is fun for all the family. Threave Garden and Estate, owned by the National Trust, proves to be a popular visitor attraction. Dumfries is approximately 25 miles east and Castle Douglas is 9 miles away, making this a wonderful base to tour the south west of Scotland. There is a river 275 yards away. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.. (Ramp Access).
